Through & Through

Through & Through is a project that explores the unraveling of confidence and the gradual transition into vulnerability. I focused on peeling back emotional layers to reveal what lies beneath the surface, creating an exploration of self that feels complete, honest, and unfiltered. In this process, I experimented with various layering techniques, using a mixture of heavy and lightweight buoyant fabrics to create soft, architectural silhouettes.

The contrast between structured forms and the gentle, floating quality of the materials reflects the idea of framing and containing something delicate. It became a visual representation of vulnerability held within a protective form, capturing the tension between strength and fragility that exists within all of us. This project is, in essence, an expression of emotional truth through and through.
